In-Universe Lore In Atori's original dimension of La'Cryma, he had fallen in love with Hikuidori who was fatally injured on a mission. During his search for the Dragon Torque in another dimension, he runs into Lee Almasy who he discovers is Hikuidori's counterpart in that dimension. Despite his attempts not to care, he is continually drawn to bird and eventually admits his feelings for them. When he saves Lee's dimension from being destroyed, it's bird feelings for him that keep him from disappearing from their dimension. |
