Lee is a stray otherworlder that ended up in Jistav where bird meets Clayman, his partner Wendy(my friend's self insert), and eventually Laplace and the other members of the Moderate Harlequin Alliance. As they get to know Laplace, they find birdself developing feelings for him and they eventually confess.

IRL Lore
I was introduced to Tensura because a friend ships with Clayman, and Laplace is their brother. I had a crush on him for an entire year before I officially admitted it and finally started reading and watching Tensura. I became quite enamored with this pretty rabbit, and we officially started dating on November 11th, 2024.

PSO2 AU
Laplace is originally from Leciel, the massive floating facility above Halpha, and was sent down to the surface of Halpha 10 years ago on a surveillance mission for Zephetto. His meteorn pod had landed in the Retem region, and although the leader of Retem at the time had suggested that he go to Central City in the Aelio region, Laplace had chosen to remain in Retem. While he feigned to have no memories of where he came from or why he was sent to Halpha, as is the case with most meteorn, in truth Zephetto had sent him to monitor the situation within the Retem region. Joining the ARKS Defenders in Retem, Laplace was then assigned to work with Lee, a shy but talented Waker from the region. The two of them proved to be a great team, and over time they fell in love. Wanting to be completely honest with his partner, Laplace revealed the truth of his origin to Lee. Zephetto eventually dismissed Laplace from his mission, giving the Lecielian the freedom to do as he wished. In time, he and Lee got married and created a Rappy Sanctuary together.

Years after his own arrival, another meteorn pod landed in the Retem region. While it looked similar to others, Laplace could tell that it was not the same kind that got sent down from Leciel but he was unsure of where else it could have possibly come from. From this new meteorn pod emerged Mahito, who much like Laplace did years before, chose to stay in the Retem region instead of going to Central City. Mahito was assigned to work with Lee and Laplace, and together the three of them defeated Renus Retem. Soon it became clear that the three of them all had feelings for each other and Mahito became the couple's lover. Once the truth behind Halpha's fight with the DOLLS and the existence of the Starless was revealed to the citizens, Lee was nearly struck down by a Starless but was saved by Mahito, who was partially transformed into his true form as a Starless. While the revelation of Mahito being a Starless made the other residents uneasy, Lee and Laplace trusted their lover not to turn on them.
